STEPS TO GET STARTED
Step One: Enroll and pay tuition
and lab fees for the course at GSU.
Check
your GSU e-mail account regularly for special announcements and updates. You can e-mail me at rmyrick@gsu.edu.
Step Two: Read the attached
syllabus carefully.
Most information about the course is presented there. It can also be seen at the Faulkner
Press website.
Step Three: Download the course software, using the
correct link below to download the software file you need. Save the file to your desktop and then
double-click the file to open it. This will take you to the Application
Assistant at the Faulkner Media website.
For the Macintosh file (dmg):

For the Windows file (exe):
http://coursewarecps.gsu.edu/class_car.exe
Step Four: Open and purchase the
software from Faulkner Media ($70.00).
Open the file you just downloaded. It will extract and the application
assistant will open.
Click on "Click to Begin" on the left to access
the registration webpage. Select “Purchase Registration” and follow the steps
to complete your purchase.
Step Five: Continue with the Application
Assistant to register your product . This will also enter your name into the course gradebook. Go to www.faulknermedia.com. Click on “Login”
and login to your My Account for your Registration Code and Serial Key. Use
them to complete the Application Assistant. (Date check is automatic.) If you
have a question about one of the fields, click on the "?" next to the
field.
Once you type in the last digit of the serial key, the
program will begin to install. (Installation time will vary according to
computer model and operating system.)
Once the installation has finished, you will be able to open
the program with the icon on the desktop.
