Product player error, Script error; Do you want
to continue?
When a user tries to run products the following message displays:
Director player error: Script error
Do you want to continue?
There are three reasons why these problems occur. The first is
that the software author made a programming error. The second reason
may be that you are running a virus/firewall program that interferes
with proper functioning of the software and the script fails. The
third is that you might have moved some of the installed components
on your computer and that opens the script error message.
Possible Causes
A file in the users "ClassCD Material" folder may be corrupt,
missing, relocated or unable to properly function.
Possible Solutions
1. If running the courseware fro a different workstation solves
the problem, reinstall the software on the original computer by
deleting the "ClassCD Material" folder located at the root of the
computer's hard drive. The user should now be able to run the
courseware successfully.
2. If running the courseware from a different workstation does not
solve the problem, try to rcreate the steps and email them to
questions@faulknerpress.com, so we can research the issue. We will
work to provide a solution to the user.
Still getting script errors? If you still get the script or
runtime error messages, the problem might be that you have some
unwanted spyware or adware installed on your computer. We recommend
that you scan your computer with Bazooka Adware and Spyware Scanner
which seems to be frequently updated. SpyBot is also spyware scanner.
