Installing 2 Coursewares on 1 Machine
Install the Courseware - First Person
Change the Name of the Course Software Material folder.
Windows: - Open My Computer or Computer.
- Select Local Disk (C) - This is your hard drive.
- Find the Course Software Material folder.
- Change the name of the Course Software Material folder to anything other than Course Software Material
Macintosh: - Open MacintoshHD.
- Locate the Course Software Material folder
- Change the name of the Course Software Material folder to anything other than Course Software Material
Install the Courseware - Second Person
- Log out of the First Person's Faulkner Media account. Log in with the Second Person's account.
- Install the courseware with the Second Person's Registration and Serial Key.
Note: You do not need to download the courseware file again, you can use the same download.
Note:
You can also change the name of the Second Person's install folder if
you would like. The Second Person's install folder will be
ClassCDmaterial (like the first one).
Desktop Icons
- To access the courseware from your desktop you will need to create new shortcuts.
- Navigate to the folder(s) that were renamed from Course Software Material
- Locate the Course Application (Ex: Career, Interpersonal, Diversity, Jazz) The icon is a little red "d" with a white circle.
- Right click (Mac: control+click) on the Course Application file.
- Select create short cut. (Mac: Make Alias)
- Move the shortcut (not the application file) to the desktop.
- Change the name of the shortcut so you know which courseware you are accessing.
